Recently, I had the honour of doing a virtual event for Zest Global, so I wanted to share with you what I spoke about – an important topic in this time.
Powerful Daily Habits…
First up, excuses. To make and stick to powerful daily habits, excuses need to go. It’s easy to say “I’ll start later” to put it off but what if you said NOW?
NOW is the time to start the new habits, there is no time for delay. Before reading further, make this commitment that you will start implementing your new habits NOW.
The next factor to focus on is your mindset!
Without a positive mindset these habits will struggle to stick, and it is more likely that you’ll give up or potentially not even choose the right habits for you to implement.
Where is your mindset in this moment? Spend some time to really think about this.
It’s 80% mindset and only 20% strategy!
Where is your focus at?
Now, let’s talk about time!
We all have the same 24 hours in a day – that doesn’t change!
So, we need to identify if it’s being used effectively and in a way that supports you positively in your powerful daily habits.
What could you remove from your life that is taking up time yet not serving you well?
Perhaps you may need to mind map this question and really pinpoint what you don’t need in your diary anymore.
This will give more valuable time to what will really change your life.
So, having discovered some time you can put into your powerful daily habits, now comes self-discipline and self-control.
How will you stop yourself from procrastinating or putting off doing your daily habits?
How will you keep yourself accountable even in some days that it’s a struggle?
ACTION!
Create your action plan now.
When will you complete your daily habits?
How long will you spend on them?
What is your plan if you’re struggling sometimes?
Who will be your accountability partner?
What is the end goal/intention behind these new habits?
Are you excited for the process that is headed your way?
We hope you are!
As a company, habits are important to us so we have a FREE habit tracker to help you keep on track and see your progress!
